Will Savino (b. 1992) is a composer and sound designer from Buffalo, NY. He has studied with Charles Ruggiero, Bruce Diehl, Lyn Goeringer, Harold Meltzer, and Lewis Spratlan. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Amherst College with a Bachelors of Music and Economics in 2014 and received his Masters of Music in Composition from Michigan State University in 2017.
Scoring for media, Will has written and produced music for games, podcasts, PSAs, and various promotional videos. He is particularly focused on making music and sound for games, and has worked on over a dozen independent titles since 2017.
Will's other compositional output includes dozens of jazz tunes, arrangements, and big band charts, a collection of chamber music for unusual ensembles, a two-act musical comedy, a collection of music for tabletop roleplaying games, and a wide breadth of solo recordings. In all of his work, he blurs the lines between jazz, classical, and popular music genres.
In addition to his video game work, Will runs the tabletop RPG scoring service Music d20. For a small fee, he provides patrons with a constantly growing library of tracks to help dungeon masters score their fantasy campaigns.
Will is currently based out of Lansing, Michigan, and is available for game and film scoring, commissions, and gig opportunities. All of his scores are available for free upon request. Feel free to contact him for any reason via email or twitter. He'd love to hear from you. He is very lonely.
